Composer Spotlight: Dave Sharp
One of our many fantastically talented composers here's just a taste of Dave Sharp's work:
Dave is a specialist in composing music for media with many credits for:-
• Theme tunes
• Radio, TV Adverts and promos
• Featured, synched to action, or background source songs
• Sound-alikes and temp track replacements
• Scripted songs/arrangements
• Music for corporate videos and sonic branding
• Music for documentaries, short films or features
Dave has been in the business for 15 years and has over 140 pieces published across many different genres.
Dave places great importance on using real performers and real instruments, keeping production values as high as possible and to create music that is authentic to the genre. To achieve this, he has developed a network of well-known and trusted session players.
Holding a BA in Music, a BSC in IT/Psychology and qualifications in Music Supervision and Writing for Film/TV from Berkleemusic, he is currently studying Film Scoring at Berkleemusic.
