Composer Spotlight: Tristan Noon

Tristan has a few strings to his bow, working frequently as a media composer, orchestrator and copyist. He has worked in the music team for established composers such as John Lunn, Rupert Gregson-Williams, Goldie and Barrington Pheloung to name a few. 

As well as writing, Tristan played at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2013 and 2014 as a keyboardist and also supported the rock band Toploader in 2014. 

His style is mainly dark drama, emotional, heartfelt piano/orchestral and quirky dramedy. Combining pop style chord sequences with contemporary classical minimalism. 

Credits also include working as Orchestrator/Arranger for Anna Calvi and The Heritage Orchestra, Queen Elizabeth Hall, 2015Assistant Orchestrator on BBC1's  Undercover, Assistant Orchestrator for Goldie and the Heritage Orchestra at The Royal Festival Hall in 2015, Composing music for the Coral Windows Christmas Advert (ITV Yorkshire), Music Copyist for 'The Mountains and the Stones' with Composer: Geoff Zanelli. and his latest work as Assistant Music Prep for the brilliant new BBC 1 drama 'The Night Manager'.
